Vintage Overview
2023 started with a hard spring frost leaving lighter crop yields and secondary fruit. Slightly cooler spring but warm summer yielded more typical flavors for Chardonnay.

Winemaking
The fruit was ‘whole cluster’ pressed directly to a tank for cold settling over a period two days. Full fermentation was in new (45%) and seasoned oak (55%) as well as some stainless steel barrels. All barrels were French. Multiple blend of yeasts add complexity. The wine was left to age in barrel for 8 months and
allowed to go through full mL fermentation.

Color: Light gold with a tinge of light grassy green.

Nose: Notes of toasted brioche and green apple, light toasty
oak and vanilla notes

Palate: bright apple notes , light toasty oak, soft sweet notes of
coconut cream, hint of smoke

Food and wine pairing: Buttery and creamy foods, Roast Chicken- Salmon, lobster
