Vintage Overview
2022 was an average vintage, warm , but not overly hot. Rain events arrived early in fall, causing the growing
season to be shortened and the fruit reached a lighter ripening than previous vintages. This led to lighter , leaner more subtle whites and reds
Winemaking
Each variety was fermented separately, allowing greater winemaking control over the parcels of fruit.
Regular pumping over or punching down during fermentation extracted smooth and full flavored fruit. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to a combination of neutral oak and seasoned in French and American oak for approximately 9 months prior to blending and bottling in July 2019. 852 cases produced.
